This one was a 3.5 for me, and I confess to being absolutely blown away by the talent of these young artists. Part of a nonprofit art education program, How to Draw a Lion, the images feature close-ups of various animals typically found in places such as Tanzania, Kenya, and Malawi. There are pages in which a lion or a rhinoceros seem to be looking straight at readers, and others on which their lanky enormity or majestic gazes show how aloof they are toward any humans nearby.
